OUR BACKGROUND

Logista has its roots back to 1964 and oprates under the current name since 1988. We currently have member firms in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria. The firm has experienced exponential growth over the last decade and currently serves an impressive client base ranging from publicly listed companies through the private sector, parastatals and official bodies of the government. Logista currently employs more than 150 people.

Logista is a member of BKR International, an international group of accounting and business advisors who provide a vast array of services from more than 300 offices in over 70 countries worldwide.

JOHANNESBURG STOCK EXCHANGE (JSE) AUDITORS

Logista has also qualified and is listed as one of a few public auditing firms allowed to perform audits on the financial statements of companies listed on the JSE.

BROAD BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT (BBBEE)

Logista fully supports transformation initiatives, which enhance employment equity and capacity building.  Our aim is to make a meaningful contribution towards accountability in South Africa.  Our policies are founded on the principles of non-discrimination and equality of opportunity.  Our policy does not discriminate on the basis of race or gender and ensures that employment equity is an integral part of the strategic business plan.  We act as mentors for clients to train and enhance accounting capacity within the entity for previously disadvantaged individuals.

Logista is dedicated to empower previously disadvantaged employees through continuous education and training to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to act as future managers, partners and administrative personnel in accounting entities in South Africa.

Due to our dedication to BBBEE some of our member firms currently holds the status of level 1 contributors to BBBEE.
